Butter Murukku is a crunchy and delicious #FestiveSnack. This #Murukku is one of the most sought after snacks during Diwali and is made using rice flour, urad dal, ajwain, and butter. Butter Murukku Recipe:

Urad Dal - 3 tbsp
Rice Flour - 1 cup
Ajwain - ½ tsp
Cumin Seeds - 1 tsp
Salt - ½ tsp
Butter - 2 tbsp
Water - ½ cup

Cooking Instructions:

1. In a pan, dry roast urad dal. Blend it to a fine powder.

2. Add it to a bowl with rice flour.

3. Add ajwain, cumin seeds, salt, and butter and mix it with your hands till it forms a coarse texture. (when you hold the mixture tightly, it should bind together.)

4. Add water and mix it well till it forms a dough-like consistency.

5. Grease the murukku maker with oil, add the dough into it. Press it on parchment paper like a spiral or sticks.

6. Heat oil in a kadai, gently drop the murukku into the oil, and fry till it becomes crispy. Take it off the kadai, drain the oil and serve.
