MG Gloster is the third all-new product from SAIC-owned carmaker. Set to challenge Ford Endeavour, Toyota Fortuner and Mahindra Alturas, the Gloster will be MG's first premium 7-seater SUV in India. Available in both 6 and 7 seater versions, the Gloster is priced between Rs 28.98 lakh - Rs 35.38 lakh (ex-showroom). Just so you know, the Gloster’s base variants (Super & Smart) get a single turbo Diesel engine (2.0L) that is good for 161bhp. Top two trims get a 2.0L twin-turbo diesel that we drove. This engine puts out a maximum power output of 215bhp and 470Nm of peak torque. Therefore on paper. It’s the most powerful in its class.
