Lubuntu is a Linux distribution based on Ubuntu, a Canonical system, being one of its official flavors. The Linux distro uses the LXQt interface by default, whereas in the past it used LXDE. This transition ended up bringing new elements to the interface, with a greater proximity to systems that use KDE Plasma, such as Kubuntu itself, another of Ubuntu's official flavors.
The LTS version of Lubuntu 22.04 is supported for only 3 years, unlike the main Ubuntu, which has primary support of 5 years, with the possibility of a paid extension for up to 10 years. In today's video we are going to analyze the characteristics of Lubuntu, which still remains a good option for low-performance computers, in addition to benchmarking in productivity tasks and games, which show the distro's performance in relation to several other systems, including Windows.
