chickpeas curry or or simpley the channa masala but very much different from the usual chole masala recipe.In malayalam language chickpeas is called as kadala .They make this kadala curry to serve with puttu ,yet another kerala breakfast item.watch the video to know how to make this authentic kerala style kadala curry with coconut.You can also make kerala kadala curry without coconut which is slightly different from the recipe shown in this video.
