What is the Relay concept? - An electromagnetic relay is an electrically operated electromechanical switch. The relay is used to connect two or more electrically isolated circuits, and to control a high rating switch using a low rating switch.
Relays are used for electrical signal isolation, like a switch current rating amplifier, in sequential logic, protection, etc. Normally closed (NC) and normally open (NO), NO NC contact concept in the relay, electromagnetic relay, DC coil, and AC coil is explained in this video lecture.
