Have you ever seen a garbanzo bean plant before? Did you know you can grow them in Ohio? Before this Spring I didn't even know that chickpeas could be grown in America worse yet Ohio. I always thought it was a Mediterranean thing. This is a black garbanzo bean and you can order seeds online. I purchased mine from a great company call FedCo who has pledged to not sell any GMO's.
