Learn how to clean your wicker baskets with these simple steps!
Buildup on your baskets can make them look old and dirty - but with a little bit of TLC, you can get them looking like new again. Watch this video to find out how to hand wash your wicker baskets and remove all the built-up gunk.
In todays video you will see how to clean an old antique basket by hand washing it with a wet lint free cloth and how to clean a thrift store basket by submerging it in a tub of water.
Below are the steps:
SUPPLIES
Dawn dish soap
Tub or sink of clean water
Lint free cloth
Toothbrush and/or scrub brush with soft bristles
Clean water
Dry clean paint brush
INSTRUCTIONS:
1. To clean the antique baskets simply dust it with the clean paint brush a
2. Then wipe it down with a damp lint free cloth (use toothbrush or scrub brush to remove anything extra
3. Set it in the sun to dry
4. To clean the thrift store baskets first dust the basket
5. Next submerge it in a tub or sink of soapy water one time
6. Use a toothbrush or scrub brush to remove any dust and debris
7. Submerge again
8. Rinse with clear water
9. Set it in the sun to dry
