Bringing the Sparrow back

It has been well documented that the number of house sparrows has been declining over the last 25 years. Known to live in close contact with humans, the little birds have become victims of urbanization, and mobile towers, according to experts.

In Bengaluru, these chirping and chattering birds have found a safe sanctuary at Edwin's house in Frazer Town. Edwin and his wife Sara have developed a close bond with sparrows over the years by protecting and feeding them.
