Kanchi Paramacharya's Maithreem Bhajata

'Maithreem Bhajata' is an amazing benediction which was written by His Holiness Shri Chandrashekharendra Saraswatiji who is reverentially and affectionately known by his devotees as Kanchi Paramacharya or Kanchi Mahaperiyava. The composition was originally set to a Ragamalika by music composer Shri Vasant Desai and it was rendered by Bharat Ratna Smt. M. S. Subbulakshmi on Oct. 23, 1966 at the United Nations General Assembly on the occasion of the UN Day. © This is Tavamithram's version of the divine composition.
