Adobe Acrobat DC Pro: How To Hyperlink An Email In A PDF To Make It A Clickable Link
This is a video tutorial on how to hyperlink an email address in a pdf to make it a clickable link using adobe acrobat DC Pro.
Simple Steps
1. Open Adobe Acrobat DC and create your .PDF
2. Go to the "Edit" tab and then highlight the email address that you want to link.
3. On the right side, click on the font color and change it to a dark shade of blue.
4. Now select the "link" tab and choose "Add Edit Web or Document link".
5. Make a rectangle around your email address, make sure you cover all of it.
6. In the dialog box that opens, set "Link Type" to "invisible rectangle", "highlight style" set to "outline" and set "Link Action" to "Open A Web Page" and click "Next".
7. Now type mailto: followed the email that you want the email linked to with no spaces.
