Coddiwomple II: A Pacific Crest Trail...
In 2022, Flash and Griz set out to hike the 2650-mile Pacific Crest Trail. This film chronicles their adventure, from their decision to hike the trail to their obstacles, including snakes, unpredictable weather, massive blowdowns, and fires on the PCT. This documentary focuses as much on the inward journey as the outward on the Pacific Crest Trail. Twenty-two-mile days and 150 nights or so, sleeping in the dirt makes you look at life differently. The PCT trail reveals, for some hikers, a deeper, inner honest voice that points your life toward a new direction -- one that seeks significance, meaning, and authenticity. Flash and Griz returned to their cabin in Alaska, renewed and with a new perspective on life. This video also includes a few humorous sections, including the time a rattlesnake set up camp beneath Flash's backpack, Griz's tribute to the Pit Toilet, and the affliction on the PCT trail known as "Hiker Hunger."
