For today's unboxing review we bring for you the 2016 Mercedes-Benz C300 4Matic. What's 4Matic? That's Mercedes-speak for all-wheel drive. The C-Class, of course, comes standard with rear-wheel-drive, just like its longtime rival, the BMW 3 Series. For years the latter was considered to be the benchmark luxury sport sedan but after spending some time with the C300, we think BMW has something to worry about. Not only does the C300 and its 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four with 241 hp and 273 lb-ft of torque drive and handle wonderfully, but it also has one of the best interiors we've ever seen. Seriously. It's incredible that a car in this category and level of pricing has an interior design this good.
Build quality is also excellent but we still feel that Audi is the benchmark for overall fit and finish. No matter, the C300 is everything you'll want in a luxury sport sedan and much more. Our tester also came equipped with the Multimedia Package, Premium Package and a panoramic sunroof. All added up, you're looking a price tag around $50,000, which is still within reason for this segment. Gripes? Not many, mainly that the rear seat is a bit snug. But that dash design. Wow. Just wow.
