Compilation of Mazovian Railways regional
Compilation of Mazovian Railways regional trains (various modifications of EN57 DMUs) recorded at two vintage railroad crossings in Poland.
First railroad crossing is located in Stara Wieś near Otwock. When I was recording this video, it was equipped with two vintage, single-light (8 inch/200 mm) ZWUS HZ-10 signals from 1950's based on pre-WW2, 1930's Ericsson project. It also had ZWUS KLD-4013 mechanical bell (also based on Ericsson project) and Bombardier KLD-4103 E-bell (that replaced another KLD-4013 a few years ago). Signals were controlled by Ericsson - DUN automatic crossing system installed in 1959.
Second crossing is located in Żabieniec. On the video it has three ZWUS EHZ-32 signals with vintage 8inch (200mm) lights and one new, Kombud SD-K2 (300 mm/12 inch) signal. It is also equipped with two Bombardier KLD-4103 E-bells. Signals are controlled by SPA-2A automatic crossing system.
Both of the crossings had the signals replacements since I took this video. Stara Wieś crossing got the two, completely new Bombardier EHZ-75 (300 mm/12 inch) signals with built-in EDE-1 E-bells in the fall of 2016. In 2019 line was closed for complex modernization which resulted in replacement of Ericsson - DUN system as well.
Żabieniec crossing got EHZ-75 signals (three of them) and was upgraded to a gated crossing with two Bombardier EEG-3 gates in the middle of 2017. It also got new automatic crossing system type SPA-5.
