Michoacan is home to wonderful people, landscapes, rivers, waterfalls, animals and Food! Beyond flavorful food.
Growing up in such a small town, our entertainment was to take a trip to the center of the town to enjoy a good meal, visit family, sit outside and watch as people walked by, or enjoy all that the river had to offer.

Our family owns a very humble but beautiful ranch right outside of town.  We are going to enjoy a beautiful day at the river as we did many times in the past. A day to relax with family, good food and what nature has to offer, including bees and a couple of bugs. Learn to make a delicious guajillo lime grilled chicken; paired with, beans, salsa and corn tortillas. Yummy!

Guajillo lime chicken recipe

➤ Marinade
1 whole chicken
6 guajillos
8 garlic cloves
1 TBSP smoked paprika
3-4 limes
Salt to taste

➤ Bean cooked in a clay pot
1 kg Peruano beans
Water (as needed)
6 garlic cloves
1/2 medium white onion (optional)
Salt to taste

➤ Salsa
4 heirloom tomatoes
7 serranos peppers
1 garlic
Salt to taste
