MulltiVersus has transformed from the promising little indie smash clone we played for fun after raging at Ultimate to yet another money-hungry, pay-to-win, live-service disaster. This game, or perhaps more correctly those behind it, have swindled players into becoming addicted to a demonstrably worse experience than the game they had previously given us.

The developers hate you and want to exploit the fact that you feel obligated to complete your challenges, going so far as to lock the completion of certain challenges behind singular, microtransaction-only, skins. It could not be more blatantly greedy and devilishly designed if they tried, 0/10.
