Should YOU Visit Drayton Manor?! Not ENOUGH Thrill Rides?

Is Drayton Manor theme park
Is Drayton Manor theme park in Tamworth Staffordshire really worth a visit? I visited Drayton Manor during their Summer Night Event which runs every Saturday and the park are open from 10.30am right through until 9pm. Shockwave was running on 2 rows, Air Race was Closed and River Rapids were Closed. Is there enough things to do at Drayton Manor? Well, Queues were non-existent with around 1.5k people on park. Thomas Land at Drayton Manor offers a range of smaller attractions for the kids with the Troublesome Trucks roller coaster being the signature ride. A NEW Roller coaster is making its way to Drayton Manor in 2024 and will replace Apocalypse and Pandemonium. Drayton Manor while only having one stand out coaster Shockwave and the family Accelerator coaster still has plenty of flat rides and water rides around the park including Maelstrom, Storm Force 10, Loki, Thor, The Haunting plus more! Is Drayton Manor busy in the summer holidays? Well... it depends on your day. The weather on my visit was terrible, therefore the park was pretty much empty.
The new roller coaster is part of the Looping Groups 5 year plan at Drayton Manor which so far has included the addition of plenty events including Summer Nights throughout the summer holidays. In 2022, the addition of Vikings which includes rides such as Thor and Loki. In 2021 the reopening of Splash Canyon, addition of Wave Swinger and Tidal Towers, alongside the refirbishment of rides in the area. It will open in 2024 alongside Project Exodus at Thorpe Park and Nemesis at Alton Towers Resort.
