UPDATED: The long-awaited arrival of Hartley & Monty's first egg of 2024 was met with an unwelcome visit by what was confirmed to be a female anatum peregrine falcon, who boldly entered the nest box and persisted for some time. Eventually the intruder was seen off and she flew back to her home.
