Baldur's Gate 3 Astral Portal opening Xbox

I am playing Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox and went into the Artefact, entering the Astral Plane. After searching around on the rocks there, the game said I needed to go thru this portal. I tried and tried and tried to go thru, but was stuck. Finally I found a Reddit post saying what I needed to do. 1 Go up to the portal. 2 Click your left thumb stick to bring up the circular cursor. 3 Move the cursor around on the portal till the prompt comes up to USE. 4 Click A and go forth and conqueror, or talk a lot, whatever happens.
