Testing Times At Sydenham | NSW | Trains

A visit to Sydenham station shows regular Sydney Trains services as well as testing of Sydney Metro services.

Testing is underway for Sydney Metro services between Chatswood, Central & Sydenham prior to the opening of the Sydney Metro City & Southwest line later in 2024.

Sydney Trains services beyond Sydenham to Bankstown will end sometime after the commencement of Metro services to Sydenham. The line between Sydenham & Bankstown will be converted to allow Sydney Metro trains only to operate along this line.

All footage obtained from publicly accessible areas of Sydenham station, through fencing at some times.
