---CONSERVATIVE FUNGAL NAIL TREATMENT---
***Today's video is showing the conservative method for nail fungus, simply just trimming and filing the nails as much as possible.
Due to the severity of the person's nail fungus, their age and their ability to reach their feet, just maintaining the nail fungus will be the best option.***
Toenail fungus (onychomycosis) is an extremely common problem I see in my office and can be very difficult to treat. Think of fungus as a mold, and it lives underneath your nail eating the nail.
Treatment depends on several factors, the severity of the fungal infection, the number of nails affected and the thickness of the toenail.
I will be going all the treatment options using videos and discuss when one treatment should be decided over others.
