"Ambode" (urad dal Vada) is a tasty evening snack, which can be prepared by using mainly urad dal. Grinding urad dal in a correct manner is very important to get a perfect urad dal Vada. Then beat the batter well. Similarly, follow the tips given in the video. Ginger chutney is a best combination with these vadas. Recipe of chutney also given in same video.

Ingredients:

Urad dal 500grms
Rice flour 75grms
Water 3/4 cup
Salt to taste
Green chilli 4
Ginger 2-3 inch
Curry leaves
Chopped coconut 1/2cup
Coconut oil for deep fry


For chutney

Greated coconut 1cup
Ginger 2inch
Green chilli 2
Salt to taste
Tamarind to taste
Required water

For tempering
Coconut oil 1sp
Mustard seeds 1sp
Dry red chilli 1
Curry leaves
