Introduction to the InVEST Habitat Quality Model

Jade Delevaux, Life Science Researcher with the Natural Capital Project, gives an overview of the Habitat Quality Model (HQM). The HQM is an open-source tool that uses habitat quality and rarity as proxies to represent the biodiversity of a landscape, estimating the extent of habitat and vegetation types across a landscape, and their state of degradation.
