JioFiber Demo & Jio Fiber Welcome Offer (Free HD/4K TV & Set Top Box) Announcement

Reliance's JioFiber service will roll
Reliance's JioFiber service will roll out on September 5th, 2019 and is said to offer internet speeds starting at 100Mbps and will go up till 1Gbps. As for the plans, Jio says that its JioFiber plans will be priced between Rs 700 and Rs 10,000. JioFiber plans will also offer a bundled subscription to OTT platforms. This means that one could get access to online media streaming services like Amazon Prime Videos, Hotstar, and Netflix with a JioFiber connection. However, the telco is yet to confirm what services will be made available. With JioFiber you will also get a landline connection and a set top box at no additional cost. Here are some of the uses of JioFiber as demonstrated onstage at the Reliance AGM.
Additionally there were other products and services announced that leverage JioFiber like Jio PostPaid Plus. The new Jio PostPaid Plus service is touted to deliver a “platinum-grade service and product experience.” It is a priority SIM-setup service, which will be made available for JioFiber users at home and users will also be able to move to the Jio network. This option also comes with Family plans that will enable one data plan and data sharing with family members.
There is also a Jio First Day First Show Movies which will offer consumers the option to purchase and watch movies at home on the day of its launch. This is planned to launch in the middle of 2020.
And yes, one more thing, consumers who opt for the Jio Forever Annual Plans get a free HD/4K TV and 4K Set Top Box as part of the Jio Fiber Welcome Offer. Let us know what you think of these announcements and products and services from Jio in the comments below.
