Tibooburra Common Ground gold

While Smokey and Jo have been going all over the place to the far flung stations out of Tibooburra, the gold has been in town all along in the common ground.
Finding gold in sand is not something Smokey is accustomed to so when the sands in the common ground produce gold he is a little perplexed.
