The inspiration behind this video:
Speaking with Inverse, Mackie admitted that he has no idea why Marvel Studios decided to rename Captain America: New World Order to Captain America: Brave New World. Mackie said that he did not know the reason for the name change, revealing how the actor found out that Captain America: Brave New World would be the movie's new title and the nonchalant way in which he reacted to the news.
There is a conspiracy theory where some believe a secret elitist group will band together to form a totalitarian regime that would grow to control the entire planet, with no nation out of its reach. That hypothetical totalitarian world government has received the name of the New World Order, which would be a direct match to Captain America 4's original title. Given how the movie is based on a very political character and will even include Sam Wilson working with the President of the United States, Ross, it was for the best to avoid any possible real-world connotations with the movie's title, adopting Captain America: Brave New World instead.
