China’s Xinjiang Military Command has reportedly inducted a batch of advanced air defence missiles, artillery & rocket launch systems. Xinjiang Military Command keeps an eye on borders with Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Afghanistan and Pakistan. The induction also includes the HQ-17 missile defence systems that experts have dubbed as  a rip-off of Russian missile system. Some reports say that China reverse-engineered the Russian Tor-M1 system to produce the HQ-17 air defence system.
