DIY Electric Fireplace With Mantle (Walk-through)

A brief walk-through showing the transformation of our old living room to our new DIY fireplace wall. Total cost was just over $500 excluding the TV.

Pencil
Drill with drill/screw bits
Stud finder
Circular saw
Miter Saw
Level
Tape Measure
Nail gun
Impact driver (optional)
Painters Tape (optional)

Supplies Needed:
14 – 8 ft 2x4’s
14 – 10 ft Shiplap boards
3 – 10 ft 1 1/2in MDF board
1 – 10 ft 3in MDF board
4 – 10 ft 1x4’s
3 boxes of 3 ½ inch wood screws
Stain with applicator
Paint (eggshell) and brushes
Fireplace
TV (optional)
Sound-bar (optional)
