2016 was a rollercoaster year for rising US 100m hurdles star Keni Harrison. After breaking the American record at her home IAAF Diamond League meet of Eugene early in the season, Harrison sensationally missed out on a place on the USATF team for the Olympics after failing pull out her best performances in the trials.
She would make up for that setback in style, however, rampaging her way around the Diamond League circuit to claim the Diamond Trophy at the end of the season. Yet her finest moment of redemption came in London, when she sailed over the hurdles to clock 12.20 and break the world record.
