Happy Easter! This Lee Enfield was sporterized when I bought it, but months of research and effort gave this beautiful, historical rifle life again. The bayonet has matching years (1917), both of which have unique characteristics from soldiers of the first world war. Not only was it a blast to shoot, but its accuracy was outstanding! Overall, there has been about $500 invested into this gun including the stock, bayonet, sling, oiler, pull-through, 0000 steel wool (for getting the bubba paint off), surplus stock set, and metal parts; not bad considering $500 is the base price for just the rifle in some places.
