Bifold doors can be a tremendous luxury but they also require great care in the design, manufacturing, and installation process. The upcoming changes to the UK building regulations will make triple glazing the new norm and not every door manufacturer will be able to cope with the extra weight.
I visited this beautiful house extension in Crieff, Scotland to talk about their Sunflex bifold doors. This is not one of my projects but their bifold doors work great because they were well designed. These SF75 frames can fit triple glazing and in the near future, all external doors will need to meet this requirement.
