That's exactly what happened to Sammy Vasquez on February 2, 2017. Vasquez was showing dominance early on in the fight, landing power punches and cutting Collazo above the right eye. For Collazo, his tenure in the ring was on display when he landed a huge counter right hand to send Vasquez the the canvas.
In the fighter meetings with Brian Custer and Caleb Plant to watch for his right hand, and it was that right hand that landed again, knocking out Vasquez.
