Math used to be a source of daily frustration in our homeschool. When we used textbooks for our math curriculum, the kids would grumble about the work. Math is not their favorite subject. I quickly began to dread math everyday.
It was also stressful for me as the homeschool teacher. I would have to keep my other kids busy with something while I tried to teach an unmotivated child his lesson. Then as he began to work on his own, I'd try to teach his brother as he asked question after question and the preschooler disappeared.
