One of the downsides to
One of the downsides to having a lightweight lithium car battery is the fact that they drain quicker when under a load. With cars now a days having so many electronics that are still using power even when your car is turned off and parked, this can become an issue. For true daily drivers that rarely go more than a few days without being used this isn't an issue at all, but some cars are just weekend warriors, some only see track days. Then there's some like me, where I use mine as a "daily" driver, but only when I need to. This means I often go a week or more without driving my car.
I needed something right away, but also something more affordable to stay in budget. That's where this Battery Tender Jr. comes in. It has a lithium mode so I bought it and tried it out. In this vid we'll do an unboxing and some charging tests to see how fast and how much it charges my XS Power lithium car battery, and if it's actually good for that use.
