The Great Laxey Wheel is
The Great Laxey Wheel is named Lady Isabella after the wife of the Governor of the day and is the largest surviving water wheel in Europe. She was built by the Victorian Engineer, Robert Casement and opened in 1854. She is an absolute gem of industrial engineering.
