In a world linked by technology, writing a postcard seems like an unlikely way to connect ourselves to the world. But strangely, it's postcards (and not emails) that we stick on our fridge, or take with us to our workplace.
Postcrossing is a global community of postcard exchanges, where the rules are simple: for each postcard you send, you'll receive one back. Where that postcard goes or where the next one will come from is always a surprise. This randomness transforms any mailbox into a box of surprises and creates unlikely connections between people of different countries, cultures, ages, genders or beliefs.
