Samson Issan was an extremely popular (and successful) fighter during the golden era who had a suffocating clinch game and crazy KO power in his hands. He was a serious volume puncher and was well-known for his relentless pace and toughness in the ring.
He held both Lumpinee and Rajadamnern stadium titles in a glittering career and also won the Sportswriters Fighter of the Year Award in 1991.
