What are Hemorrhoids?

Hemorrhoids develop when the cluster of veins in the rectum or anus swell and stretch. While they can be recurrent, painful, and embarrassing, they are rarely dangerous. This condition is also linked to constipation and excessive straining during defecation and becomes extremely common with age.
