One of the CPU Socket pins on my Rampage Extreme Team Finland edition has been sketchy for a good while now. Many times it has bent down by itself and I have realigned it manually with tweezers for a few times now. Now when I tried to do it again it actually got broken :D , so the pin cut from the middle into two pieces so I had to repair it, as that pin seems to be a necessary one for the board to work.
I used a hot air soldering station to desolder the remaining part of the pin, then I removed a new pin from a dead and disposable motherboard and resoldered that one to the empty spot on the Rampage Extreme's CPU Socket. And now it seems to work again :D .
