The user also mentioned this line was inappropriate -  'Who can i complain to other than you?' - because we should only complain to Allah citing the words of prophet Yaqub when he said: '"I only complain of my grief and sorrow to Allah, and I know from Allah that which you know not" [Quran - 12:86].

I only disagree with that because MANY of us do share our complaints with friends, family, husbands, wives, etc - and there is nothing wrong with that. When the Prophet (SAW) first met Jibreel he felt he had gone insane, he was extremely scared and so the first 'person' he ran to was his wife Khadijah who he shared this with.

No one can replace Allah, but we can share ''some'' things with people around us. May Allah give us friends, family, spouses that love us and we love them!
