Head, Neck and Throat evaluation
Head, Neck and Throat evaluation is a vital part of the general physical examination which is often omitted or performed sub-optimally by physicians, dentists or other healthcare providers.
In this video we would like to demonstrate that the Head, Neck and Throat (HNT) examination takes only a few minutes to perform properly. We have used both rigid and flexible endoscopy video to complement the task. HNT examination can add extremely valuable information facilitating a correct diagnosis and follow up.
This video has two parts
a. Basic Head, Neck and Throat physical examination, that should be taught to medical students and performed successfully by every physician and particularly by General Practitioners (GPs).
b. Advanced Head, Neck and Throat examination that could be partially performed by the well trained GPs but should be mastered by the Otorhinolaryngologists.
All the above clinical information can be easily incorporated in our daily clinical practice routine and we sincerely hope that the final effect of this video will be more health care providers performing a proper Head, Neck and Throat examination.
