버려지는 마스크로 의자를 만드는 사람이 있습니다. 계원예술대학교에 다니는 23살 김하늘 씨입니다. 그는 코로나가 시작된 뒤 버려지는 마스크로 뭘 할 수 있을까 고민하다가 '가구를 만드는 사람'으로써 내가 할 수 있는 일을 떠올렸다고 합니다. 마스크 필터 부분은 폴리프로필렌으로 돼 있어 녹이면 플라스틱이 되는데요, 영상에 그 생생한 장면을 담아봤습니다.
23 year old Haneul Kim from Kaywon University of Art and Design, is the man who made chairs out of recycled masks. As the COVID-19 pandemic saw a large amount of masks being thrown away, he thought about what he could do with the situation as a person who dealt with furniture.
Watch the video as he goes on to explain how the Polypropylene from the mask filters can be melted into plastic and show us around his work.
