My headcanon is that most Space Marines would happily murder an Xeno child but the Marines Malevolent have spent so long taking part in acts of petty criminality that doing something severely morally objectionable would actually disturb them. Why level your house with an artillery bombardment when they could leave a bag of flaming grox poop on your doorstep?
