Battle of Divis Flats, west Belfast, 10 August 1975, IRA Snipers vs British soldiers, 2 hour battle

(Anyone who saw Pete Taylor's Provos series will recognise some of the footage) During an anti-internment march, the British Army harassed Irish protestors, breaking into 300 people rioting against the British Army.
When the protestors started moving out of the way IRA snipers opened up on the British Army's Royal Anglian Regiment & a 2-hour gun battle broke out, in which two children were killed by the crossfire, one by the IRA & 1 shot dead by the British Army. Eight others were injured in the battle.
