Ep 351 - Adaalat - Vaidik gets accused of his father’s death who fell from the terrace. Vaidik tells KD he didn't do it. His father wasn't well so he took his father out to the terrace for some fresh air but did not kill him. However a video that the prosecution presents shocks everyone. It was shot from the opposite terrace where two girls were recording themselves but in the background we clearly see Vaidik pushing his father from the terrace. KD is taken aback. All of a sudden Vaidik accepts he killed his father but claims that a mystical voice commanded him to do so. The prosecution ridicules this however a psychiatrist upholds Vaidik’s claim – Dr. Chatterjee, a past life regression expert. Nityanand would often dream of being on a battlefield and killing an unarmed soldier who he realized was his son from the present life. Vaidik too dreamt the same dream time and again. How can two people dream two halves of the same dream? What will KD do now?

When the prosecution has prepared a water tight open and shut case where even a blind man can tell that the accused is guilty. But no one can see the case from the angle KD does. He digs fervently for loopholes in the prosecution’s case much to their frustration and thinking on his feet, he manages to turn the entire case around. Often through histrionics, magical gimmicks (since he has recently started learning magic … and uses a parallel between magic and justice… that often what we see is not all… there is something beyond it), performances, which the Judge does not approve of ! And nor does his ex-love Maya (The Prosecutor who is often at the receiving end!) - But that is KD. Unstoppable, incorrigible and completely enthralling and entertaining. It is a treat to watch him perform in court week after week, tearing the toughest of cases to shreds and helping convict an evil scheming villain, and setting a poor hapless innocent victim free!
