Fix PS Vita That Will Not Charge

I am a genius I have the fix!

I had the same problem. No charging. Not a broken cable. It was plugged in correctly. Not the outlet. I would plug it  in and out continually and occasionally got a flicker of orange charging light. I did not want to pay $130 so as a last stitch effort I sprayed the tiniest bit of WD40 (with a pinpointing spray tube attached to prevent mess) in the vita into the charging port to see if it might increase conductivity on the exterior or interior of the port. I used a toothpick to gently brush the connectors in the port(probably not necessary or a good idea) At first nothing new. I just looked down in dismay at it 2 minutes ago and it is charging good as new!

It is likely risky and I have no notion of long term effects, but hey if it breaks I am no worse off than before.
