This type of systems works by fog nozzles, placed on the ring just on the outlet of a powerful fan that puts into the air billions of tiny droplets of micronized water up to 60 feet away with a rotation range of 340°. The additional value of Idrotech Fog Maker compared to other systems on the market is the ability to configure the systems in both low pressure and high pressure. Fog machines on the market operate only in low pressure and work up to 6 bar, if powered by the water supply network, or at most around 10-15 bar when fed by a so-called re-start pump. The average diameter of the drop of water thus produced is about 68 micron. Drops too large to evaporate which then fall to the ground, wetting where they settle. It is useful technology when it is necessary to wet, as in the case of dirty roads, demolition of buildings, mines.
