Welcome to the United Kingdom's most unique village located in North Wales. In this Travel video we talk about why Portmeirion is so unique and use drone footage as well as ground footage to show you this colourful Italian themed village. By the end of the video you will understand why it is one of the most visited places in all of Wales.
We go into the history of why the village was created and talk about the main founder Sir Clough William Ellis and find out why over 200'000 tourists visit the tourist village every year.
You will also find out that the village was used as the main setting for the famous TV series the Prisoner which was popular in the 1960's and 70's.
