Missed you! Look what’s new!

After over a dozen years of milking our dairy goats by hand, this week we began using a Simple Pulse milking machine! Why oh why did I ever wait!? It is exceptionally easy to use and my hands are already so much happier!  The only negative thing I can say is that it makes the milkroom a little extra hot when it is running, but I imagine I’ll love that as things turn colder here in Maine in the weeks ahead! While I made this video mostly for folks considering investing in a milking machine, I did want to say hello to all our awesome followers. We had a late wave of babies, lots of visitors and the goats made lots more milk this year that needed to be made into products. Since there are just me and husband running the farm, that left very little extra time in the last couple months and I fell of the video making train! I do have some cute content I just need to edit and upload of this years kids, so stay tuned! More to come this fall! And we are already planning breeding for next year so, so much more cuteness arriving in the year ahead! Hugs to you all! Enjoy every last drop of summer!
