GRASP PATTERNS: Review common grasp and pinch patterns!
In today's video we go through a simple taxonomy that reviews common grasp patterns including the hook, power, cylindrical, disk, lumbrical, and spherical grasp patterns. We also look at common pinches including the lateral pinch, the two-point pinch, three point pinch, and other terminology related to common pinches. These grasp patterns are integral parts of daily function and for occupational therapists having both a good understanding of these and clear terminology, allows for better observational skills and documentation skills.
