That’s right, thanks to a psychological and systematic error in our thinking, we often will experience what is called cognitive biases that have great influence on our motives, thoughts, and behaviors.

These cognitive biases are meant to be mental shortcuts to simplify information from the world quicker and more efficiently. But sometimes quicker isn’t always better, and our cognitive biases can make us behave irrationally or illogically.
